Other than that, been a lovely week.
Fedora's with the girls, finished Christmas shopping, spent time with my boo, and lots of lovely presents :)

Seriously, I'm so glad 2008 is out the door. It almost felt like there was a bad stigma attached to it, lol.
My holidays were super- better than expected.
Though my folks were gone, friends and boyfriend made it that much better <3
I am truly blessed for all the love in my life- I cannot say that enough.
I am getting closer to the people I work with, so you know I'm stoked about that.
That's the kind of person I am, though. It takes a while to break the shy shell, but once you do, beware ;)
I am dying to get close to people, it just takes time to for me to get there.
Plus, I'm getting insider info on my future in nursing, so that's a bonus ;)
Soon I'll start my Spring semester at my new school, UTA, so I'm a little nervous about that.
Not only am I a 'new kid on the block', but I'm totally novice at the whole full-time, university thing. So nervous.
I'm sure I'll settle into it just fine... I just hope I don't mess this up, ha.
So that's all for now... work again tomorrow. 6 days in a row! woooooo =X

So, I'm back in Washington until the 4th.. I can't even believe how much I've missed it. I've decided to move back after school in February and just spend some time up here for a while and see where it takes me. :]

Again I sit on my bed, still rather paranoid, but working through it.
I am still attempting to burn as much time out of the house as possible, but you know...
Yesterday was jam-packed for me >< I had SO much to do:
Picked up transcript at old college, dropped it off at UTA, picked up documents from recruiters (well, attempted to), sushi with Chels & her coworkers, tanned for a bit, sent package at FedEx, had hair done, & saw The Day The Earth Stood Still (remake, obv) with my bestest =) It was amazinggggggggggg.... but then, that's my "thing" ;) sci-fi love.
Today was day one of drill weekend, so yeah- not much to say there. Dry briefings, dumb inside jokes, and failed attempts to stay awake, hahaha. Yeeeep. And tomorrow we have a Christmas luncheon -_- Interesting.
Oh! And I finally went to the gym again, after a week of avoiding it, hehe.
I've got to get back on that... I guess the cold weather kind of discourages me for whatever reason.
Time for shower and some good sleep... if only I can ignore the creepy sounds outside...

and here I am, sitting on my bed, finding ways to waste time.
You might think, "Why don't you just sleep?"
Well that would be nice and all, but my body just doesn't do that over-sleep thing. I get 7 hours max.
I will still naturally wake up at 7am. No alarms- no joke. No biggie.
So I figure I'll spend the next 3 weeks trying to blow time as much as possible.
Today was Day One of this elaborate plan.
Work today was decent, amidst dodging frequent tear-evoking thoughts.
We had a very colorful "meeting" in the morning, followed by a delish Christmas breakfast =) yumz.
Later that night, I changed clothes and headed out to Studio Movie Grill for my friend's big movie premiere... its part of a Media Institute program in Dallas... pretty rad.
Later yet, we all headed out to Buffalo Wild Wings & BJ's to celebrate my BFF's bday (yes, another one!)
And here I am, again, sitting on my bed. I'm attempting to listen to positive music to uplift my spirits. Trying.
I think I'm just a very paranoid person, and I'm about to bring a rifle in my room for protection... I hate being alone. ><
So I dropped my family off at the airport this morning. This is the first Christmas they'll be flying to the Philippines without me... my first alone.
I thought I'd be fine & breeze through work today but I'm really struggling. I just don't know how to deal with an empty house for 3 weeks... I miss them. I'm so afraid for them (long, turbulent flights) and just want to know they're okay.
I'll be fine, its just hard at first. I'm such a sap with these things.
Can't type anymore, eyes are too damn watery- AHH! I gotta get thru the day.

and I love it! =) I'm such a kid at heart when it comes to the holidays, haha.
So today I finally finished all my class finals-- whew! Such a relief to be over with.
I treated myself to sushi & a cocktail afterwards ;) I felt it was deserved.
Later that evening, hit up Cheesecake Factory with the BFF to celebrate her bday <3
And later yet, another bday-house-party =X So many winter babies! (but I'm one too, so yeah)
Anyway, all of this RSV medication is keeping me up... can't sleep... I need to.
Tomorrow morning (er, today technically) is the big Christmas parade and other holiday festivities- stoked!
Ok... attempting to sleep now... time for Codine syrup... mmm.
I need to stop doing this "...." so much.
